holidays!

i love the holidays so much.  the christmas lights, the trees, the cheerful colors decorating doors and homes, the music, the integrity of people.  i forgot how close we are to christmas until someone wished me a merry christmas while i was at work on wednesday.  how exciting it is to be able to spend christmas with family this year!  i'm going to be so surprised when i see my siblings, i know.  i haven't seen them in about a year and a half (except em who is here with me).  they are growing up, pretty much all of them taller than me, except ben, but he's only 13.  so that will just be another year, maybe two before he passes me in height.  :)

joey and i are moving.  joey is actually unloading the car now, at our new place.  i've finished putting everything else in bags for easy transfer.  i'm excited.  we're going to be living in my cousin's basement.  he and his wife, with their two kids, have the whole house to themselves, so need a bit of help with rent.  perfect for me, since i need to be living with family next semester (cuz of joey leaving and all).  so it's a win-win for everyone.  plus, joey and i can escape the whole constant-byu-environment.  i love byu.  but i need breaks from the constant student role.  i like to go home, not just down the street, where campus still is right outside my door.  needless to say, i'm ready for the change.

i just don't want to leave my ward.  i feel like i have found a great place to be, where i belong.  joey and i have had a hard time finding that here in utah.  bishop told us we are always welcome to stay, but we need to give dave and wendy's ward a chance.  so i will try.  but no guarantees.
