i found this in my church bag today as i was cleaning it out, and figured i would write it down here so the paper clutter is lessened. this was that one sunday back in january when i finally realized that i needed to go to church for the whole time, and to really try to better myself (ha... ironic considering i didn't today... progress is being made though, and my husband really needed me!). here is what i wrote down, as tears streamed down my face:
"As simple as Mary's recognition of the Lord, when He called her by name, I know He was speaking to me. Not with words; just an overwhelming feeling that, if put into words, said "I am here. I am extending my love to you. Please come home."
i just want to share with you all how grateful i am for my Savior and that i do know He is there for all of us, in the good times and the bad. and He always, ALWAYS, loves us, even when we do the most stupid things. i can't comprehend His love fully, but i do know it and feel it, some days stronger than others. as a soon-to-be-mom, i am coming to understand it somewhat better. and i know that when little aaron gets here, i will understand it even better. but i don't think any of us can ever fully understand it, not here at least. maybe in the next life, or the life after that... i don't know, i just know that HE IS HERE, waiting for us to come back to Him. and if we already are, like i feel maybe i am today, He is STILL here, and still loving me through my mistakes and shortcomings, gently leading me to the right choices.
happy sunday all :)
