oh my goodness you have grown so much! you get into EVERYTHING and are such an explorer, having no fear of anything it would seem. you move everywhere, scooting and pulling and climbing and walking (holding on to the couch edge or bed or papa's legs or...). you love to swing, you love to blow raspberries, you love to eat, you love to drink from mommy's cup, you love to snuggle. you are such a joy to have.
this month:
- standing without support for about 2 seconds is the record right now
- eating toes is not new, but has increased in enjoyment for you - surprises and sudden laughing abound!
- you have perfected your tantrum - we all know you're just throwing a fit, but my you can do it so well
- knowing full-well what it means, you purposefully said "mama" :D
- you're too big for your tub, as in you still fit but it doesn't do very well at containing you any more... haha
- you really enjoy cousins!
- you pick things up while standing (via holding on to the couch or a knee with the other hand)
- green is the color of the month (as opposed to orange like it was before) - if you have choices, you choose the green one 99% of the time
- you still love to shred paper and napkins - you're constantly trying to pull apart whatever you have in your hands
- you "wave" (as in, your entire arm slaps your leg as you pull it up high and bring it back down, in quick succession, repetitively)
- you tend to fall asleep when you're in the car... i believe you now you think it's just easier this way... i'm very excited about this!
- you pull yourself up to standing when you wake up from your naps
- did i mention that you get into everything? you really don't like the word "no" (see above about tantrums)
- you still love cars. especially when they "vrrroooom" right past us!
- your first true beach adventure happened, including the sand-eating and everything
- you are VERY observant, noticing little details on everything
- there was a funny moment putting you to bed the other night... i laid you down, and after maybe 30 seconds of lying there quietly you pulled yourself up to standing, and started giggling! there was about 15 minutes of laughter between the two of us as you initiated peek-a-boo, stood up and plopped down, rolled all around your bed... all amidst crazy giggles. you were then officially exhausted and became pretty upset, but oh what fun it was to see your silly little personality show just how silly you can be sometimes!
