dear ana,
so much to do, so little time! you are already living life as full as you can, and sometimes i am hard put to keep up, but it's wonderful.
- still mastering the alphabet, but you have more of it down. you are also doing better with 1-10. i'm not pushing any of this, i should add. because aaron is learning it, you want to also. and you are catching on quick! you have a crazy vocabulary and i love that we can actually talk and exchange ideas, because you comprehend so much.
- you are choosing your outfits now, letting me know what you are in the mood for. pink over any other color, and princesses or tinkerbell over anything else. but the variety is good, too.
- you love milk. LOVE it. at first i thought it was just a phase, but it has yet to stop. perfectly fine by me!
- still my little artist. coloring, drawing, singing, dancing. all the time. makes my heart smile.
- you love to cook, whether in your kitchen or the real one. it's fun to have you kids helping, although i think i need a second step stool!
- you have also needed lots of extra snuggles. most of the time your desire for them is a different time than aaron, so i've been able to accommodate all the extra cuddles, and it's been good for me too. i try to treasure each moment.
- you have never been quite as enthusiastic about babies, but you also love to talk about the baby, and talk to the baby. you always emphatically say, "i love you baby!!". it's adorable. and i hope it sticks!
- potty training is going well. as long as we don't travel around too much anymore in the next little while we should be done with everything but bedtime. and that is wonderful :)
- at the beach you mostly stayed by me and made/destroyed sand castles. you didn't want anything to do with the freezing water. but you still wanted to see daddy. so you would run back and forth between the edge where daddy was with aaron, and me where i was sitting with the toys and snacks. it was pretty fun.
- easter and conference weekend were also great for you, because you loved having the simple treats and of course, a new book! snuggling with everyone was the icing on the cake.
my days start a little (ok a lot) earlier with you, and it's so good for all of us. i love the new perspective you give me, and i am so grateful you are mine.
love, mommy
