dear reed,
you are no longer brand new and only sleeping! time goes so fast!
- you smile! you love your siblings, and you love to laugh with mommy and daddy. in the morning especially. it's wonderful!
- you "coo" and make other baby "talking" sounds. aaaaaadorable.
- you are bigger than either of the other two, by far. are your check up, you weighed 12 pounds. what?!
- you don't really like tummy time. but that's because we set you down. and you view that as utter betrayal.
- that boo-boo lip. ohmygosh. seriously.
- you don't hate bath time as much anymore. and when ana sits in the tub too, you actually have fun. yay!
- daddy snuggles MUST happen at least once a day or you loose it. sweet, and horrid when he's gone all day.
- you sleep SO well. you sleep through most the night about 50% of the time, and you are starting to go to bed at the same time as the other two, in your own bed. it's the nicest thing you could do for my sanity :)
- you love having a pacifier. if you only want to suck and i try to nurse you, boy do you let me have it!
- you were wiped out after getting shots, and were pretty delicate, but that was the extent of the reaction, for which i'm grateful. you had fallen asleep while we were waiting, so it was a pretty evil way to wake up, but you went back to sleep, so i'm hoping it just seemed like a bad dream.
- you love to stand. either the person holding you standing, or the person sitting holding you up and you work your little legs. but you always make the funniest face while you stand, it's awesome.
- actually, your huge eyes and turtle lips always make the funniest faces, and you are quite entertaining. and then you smile.... heart melted, successfully!
- you have been a drool monster already. with the bottom two teeth tops threatening to show, i'm hoping we hold off just a bit longer on teething.
i love you oh so much, little one. you are so fun, and the best snuggler. and i've already got your siblings, so that is saying something! i love you, forever.
