you are such an entertainer! you are definitely trying to keep up with the other two!
- you do the funniest wiggle once laid down to sleep. once you do the wiggle, then you can sleep.
- you definitely need two or three naps throughout the day. mid-morning, afternoon, and early evening. your afternoon nap usually lines up with the others' quite well, but sometimes everything is thrown off. it is glorious when all three of you sleep at the same time...!
- you purposely grab at things now, putting whatever it is in your mouth of course. auntie em's zebra is your favorite to grab and play with.
- you study your hands, and are more observant in general now. i love watching you study your hands and toes though. and you suck on your three middle fingers, either all three or two of them at a time. no thumbs.
- you talk, boy do you talk! we've minimized the shrieking just by changing a few things. i've definitely tried to reinforce the normal crying when you need something. but you also just do the whole "oooo ooo" thing and it's adorable.
- you are a morning baby. i prayed for you to sleep in like aaron did, but i knew in my heart you would wake up with the sun like ana does. however, this means you are the happiest little person bright and early, first thing!
- your hair is growing back in. you had a lot (comparatively) when you were born, then it rubbed off, and now it's coming back, minus the one little spot on the back of your head. when you are laying down, or reclining in your little bouncer, you are still constantly moving your head, so that spot will be bald for a while probably, ha!
- you are so long! you can still fit 3 month clothing so far as width goes, but not in length. definitely my little stretchypants!
- those smiles though! oh my! the best smiles are for me and daddy. it's also pretty funny, we were washing dishes and you were in the seat there in the kitchen, and we thought you were going to start crying because you prepare your biggest smiles by sort of frowning half the time. pretty funny. but combined with your wide eyes your smiles are just so wonderfully reaffirming.
you are so sweet and clingy. you don't really seem to prefer men versus women, or vice versa, like the others did. you're pretty content to just be held. but you are definitely happiest with us. you definitely need your daddy snuggles, especially come witching hour (aka, 5pm) when everyone goes bonks because daddy should be home... but you also definitely need me all day long. it's nice to be needed :) and aaron and ana always have to say hi to you and play with you, too. just know you are one loved little snuggler!
